2 Personal Legislative Agenda & Action Plan (Student’s Name) Context: The context is to centered around the advocacy objective of achieving equitable access to medical care and addressing health inequalities faced by African Americans. The focus is on expanding insurance access and removing cost barriers for this specific demographic. The information also discusses the utilization of the Multiple Streams Framework, which is a strategy for setting policy priorities that takes into account issue assessment, policy creation, and political participation. The framework emphasizes the need to acknowledge and address the barriers faced by African Americans in accessing insurance, and it highlights the importance of engaging the politically engaged African American population in the advocacy process.
